If you want to eat like a 1 star Michelin star restaurant (even 2), for a fraction of the money? This is your place.
Amazing wine list, amazing g service and the food was just terrific.
New favorite place
I can’t describe this taste… tart tartin is recommended!!!! We loved that🥰
Cozy restaurant with outstanding food. The quality of the ingredients and dishes is close to the best I’ve had.
Just a question of when they will get their Michelin stars. The food is better than at Noma in Denmark and Frantzen in Stockholm. Worth travelling to Gothenburg just to eat here. Don’t miss the tarte tatin.
Bar LA Lune has become one of our favorite places, not just in Gothenburg, not just in Sweden or Europe, but anywhere. They serve food that balances honesty with delicacy - it is beautiful and intriguing without ever becoming pretentious. Their staff is lovely, hilarious, knowledgeable, and comfortable with establishing a sweet connection. It is a special place.
Arguably one of the coziest, warmest, and most charming restaurants I've ever visited! You feel right at home in Bar La Lune and the atmosphere is great!
We were a party of 6 and ordered the set menu. As a whole, the dishes were exciting, new, refreshing, and a bit untraditional. However, there were a couple of dishes that unfortunately we all agreed missed the target for us. The ceviche dish had an almost soapy flavour that was way too overpowering. This ruined some of the overall impression that we ended up with after leaving the restaurant, which is a bit sad.
One of the stand out dishes were the tarte made of caramelised onions. The anchovies on toasted bread was also very nice!
A bit hard to get a table and a bit pricey for smaller dishes but well worth it. Great selection of wine too with a knowledgeable staff.
It was just ok, and I wasn’t overwhelmed with the quality of food, wine or service here. I’ve had better food and wine elsewhere.
